Entity 2 was founded to engineer a fundamentally safer, more sustainable alternative to the lithium-ion paradigm. Our flagship Solid-State Sodium Silicate Battery (SSSB) uses a phyllosilicate-based solid electrolyte with sodium meta silicate as cathode active material — eliminating liquid electrolyte, thermal runaway risk and critical mineral dependencies in a single architectural decision.

From this anchor chemistry we have built an entire platform: hydrogen fuel cell power systems (Pinakin HPFC) for industrial captive and data centre critical power, a Magnesium-Air Fuel Cell for high-energy fuel-coupled applications, and the Rudra SMR-TAEPGR — India's first commercialised 1 MWe small modular reactor for clean baseload power.

Every Entity 2 chemistry is IP-protected and patent-anchored. The portfolio spans SSSB cell architecture, magnesium-air fuel-cell systems, quasi-solid-state magnesium electrochemistry, and the bio-battery platform — alongside system-level IP across Pinakin HPFC and the Rudra SMR conversion chain.

Our proprietary Mechano-Electro-Chemical Cell (MECC) recycling process recovers more than 96% of active materials from end-of-life cells — closing the loop on critical inputs and enabling a circular sustainability model that lithium-ion cannot match.

Our platforms have reached Technology Readiness Level 9 and are in active commercial deployment — including the Rudra SMR-TAEPGR at the Shree Somnath Trust complex, supplying clean, firm baseload power to one of India's most strategically significant heritage sites.

We supply, advise and partner with anchor industrial clients across India's defence, aerospace, mobility and infrastructure sectors — including ISRO, Tata, Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, BrahMos, Medha, Agastya, Steel India and Plasser India.
